Tom Graham

I’m a detail-oriented graphic designer based in Auckland, New Zealand. I’ve recently graduated from Media Design School, where I majored in Graphic Design.
        Over the past three years, I have developed a love for brand and packaging design; practices in which I can obsess over finer details, like paper stock and print finishing.
         I’m currently working in the marketing team at Barker’s of Geraldine, producing digital content for trade and social media, and printed material for new products. This role has given me valuable insight into the FMCG industry, teaching me about brand marketing and the intricacies of packaging design.
        I recently featured in a Design Assembly article where I share my thoughts on my time at Media Design School, what I learnt along the way and my plans for the future.

DRB Entertainment represents some of the top talent across television, radio and digital media in both New Zealand and Australia. In creating an identity for this new company, I leaned in on Dean’s “to the point” style of management, and allowed this to come across through the simple use of colour, typography and scale.
        The rollout of this brand identity included the design of a brand guide, a customised website built in Squarespace, and stationery such as business cards, invoice templates and an email signature.
