Description
Anathoth Farm is a leading New Zealand producer of great tasting jams, chutneys, pickles, and now three delicious new pizza sauces.
I led the packaging design for these new labels, working alongside the internal marketing team to conceptualise and shelf-test the design approach. I was also heavily involved in the new product development phase, from idea generation through to taste-testing.
As these new products were entering into an unfamiliar category for Anathoth Farm, the packaging needed to stand apart from the rest of the distinctive range.
On the front of the pack, I introduced an organic pizza base roundel and a ribbon to indicate flavour. Hierarchy and important brand elements such as naming conventions and the use of illustrations, were retained for familiarity.
